Research

Introduction

At Nickelodeon we pride ourselves on listening to and learning from Australian kids and their families. Research is not new to Nickelodeon Australia. During the past 15 years, we have conducted hundreds of focus groups and surveyed thousands of kids, and we are always talking to kids and chatting with them online and on-air or out on the road at one of our many outdoor events.

THE AUSTRALIAN KIDS AND FAMILY PANEL

In 2007, we embarked upon a new research project titled, The Australian Kids and Family Panel; which was an exciting initiative to uncover the world of kids.
The panel consisted of over 1 200 randomly recruited Australian metropolitan and regional households.
Since then we have expanded the number of households we are able to contact by accessing an online panel. Our constant household contact enables us to keep in touch with Australian families and build a deep understanding of what they do in their day to day lives and start to build a true and unique understanding of what goes on in lives.
