Nick Jr. is the first channel in Australia totally dedicated to pre-schoolers, built on Nickelodeon’s reputation as the world’s leading entertainment brand for kids. Now in its 10th year in Australia, Nick Jr. is based on the philosophy ‘The Smart Place to Play’ and is dedicated to encouraging pre-schoolers to ‘play along and learn’ through programmes and consumer products that stimulate, educate, involve and excite developing and enquiring minds. The channel is best known for its pre-school role model, Dora the Explorer, as well as local series’, Didi and B and Play Along with Sam. Nick Consumer Products has over 70 industry leaders including Mattel and Fisher-Price, Paramount, THQ, Atari, John Sands, Funtastic and Hasbro who create innovative products connecting kids with their favourite Nickelodeon shows and characters, stories and fantasies. Theme Parks

Nick Central at Dreamworld is a world where kids rule and can play, live and breathe Nickelodeon all day long! Launched in 2002, Nick Central is oozing with interactive family fun. Kids can rule the rides, hang out with their favourite Nick characters and catch live shows in the Slime Bowl.

Launched December 2006, WhiteWater World, is home to the Nickelodeon Pipeline Plunge. Boasting over 100 interactive water activities, kids can climb in and out of the structures, run wild on four flume waterslides, play with water sprays, geysers and cannons, or just chill out under the massive Pipeline bucket, dumping over 1000 litres of water onto guests and back into the splash pools below.

Nickelodeon Movies

Nickelodeon Movies develop and produce films for kids (and their families) in association with its sister Viacom company, Paramount Pictures. The goal of Nickelodeon Movies is to create a variety of films, including star-driven family movies, kids-first movies and animated features, and thereby bring extraordinary events, characters, and situations into everyday life.

Nick Movie titles include; Avatar- The Last Airbender, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Hotel for Dogs, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Barnyard the Movie, Rugrats Go Wild and Charlotte's Web.
